Vitesse X is a producer and DJ from New York City. Their recent full studio album, “This Infinite,” features an airy, nostalgic sound. Like many albums the title song “This Infinite” is not featured until the third song, thus allowing album songs like “Eternal” and “Spill” to shine.
Although Vitesse X’s music is typically categorized as dance and electronic, this album incorporates elements of light alternative music. Their soft vocals make listeners feel as if they are floating on air or enjoying a joyride with the wind brushing against their cheeks.
My favorite song from the album is “Get in Girls.” The chorus features soft, dreamy ad–libs, while the lyrics repeat the catchy phrase, “Get in girls, we are going.” If you enjoy soft, nostalgic alternative music with a hint of electronic, Vitesse X’s new album is for you.
